CARE Groups
1) Community – creates a sense of belonging to a ‘family or community’ 2) ‘Go make disciples’ – soul-wining oriented; it cannot merely be for nurturing 3) Leadership – strong Spiritual leadership and clear direction 4) Accountability – everyone is accountable to an other for spiritual growth and character development 5) Equipping and Training – shared roles to develop the next line of leaders |

CARE stands for ‘Christ Attitude Reflected in Everybody’. The CARE group model was originally developed by the Gateway Seveth-day Adventist Church in Victoria, Australia. A Care Group is not merely a place for sharing the word of God but a place to also share our own lives for Jesus Christ. Each Care Group must be a wholistic care group and must have all five components below:
